Each Monday we’ll post a trivia question in the Library. Guess the correct answer and earn a chance for a prize at the end of the summer.
June & July Adventure Tuesdays
Readers, are you ready for an adventure? This summer, Adventure Begins @ Your Library! Each week we will explore a new adventure through books, crafts and activities.
June 4, 11, 18, 25 & July 2, 9, 16, 23
K, 1st, 2nd grades, 9:30 -10:30 am
3rd grade and up, 10:45 am – Noon
June & July Crafty 4-H Wednesdays, 2:00-3:00 pm
Pawnee City Library and Nebraska Extension are collaborating to offer adventurous weekly craft sessions for area students. You must sign up prior to each crafting session at the library. Space is limited. Projects completed can be entered into the Pawnee County Fair. Youth do not need to be in 4-H to participate in crafting but must be enrolled in 4-H to show at the fair. Youth under 8 will need to have an adult or responsible teen with them. Arrive promptly at 2 o’clock.

June & July Lunch on the Lawn Thursdays – 11:30 am – Noon
Let’s have an exciting adventure on the lawn. Bring your lunch and something to sit on. Enjoy your picnic while a librarian reads a few stories.
June & July Friday Frenzy!
Come to the library. Check out a picture book. Read the book. Return the book to the desk. Spin the wheel! One spin each Friday during June & July.
July 31 Summer Reading ends. Return your reading logs to earn final Book Bucks! Teens and adults return your punch cards. Grand Prize TBA
August 5-9 Book Bucks Bargain Store is Open. The only time and place you can spend those Book Bucks you earned.
August 5-6 Let’s celebrate all together now! End of summer party TBA

Help your Class win the Traveling Trophy. The class reading the greatest number of books wins the right to display the traveling trophy in their classroom next year.
Book Club @ Your Library
The Book Club welcomes new members. They meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm, at the library to discuss the book they have been reading. The book for May is Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate.
