Please consider becoming a member or renewing your membership of the Pawnee City Library Foundation & Friends. Your membership helps to serve our library and allows the Foundation to meet the USDA loan requirements for membership. NOW IS THE TIME if you have not already done so! Also consider volunteering your time and talents so the Foundation & Friends can continue to be an active and vital part of the community.
Please take a few moments to fill out the membership form (found below or in the November/December 2014 newsletter) and mailing or dropping it to the Library at PO Box 311, Pawnee City NE 68420
Your membership dues would help to fund library programs such as:
Summer Reading Program
Hosting “Open Houses” for the public
Reading Classics Preparation program
Hosting Trick or Treat night on Halloween
Golden Sewer program for area 4th graders
Purchasing of classics
Adult educational programs
and other library needs as determined by the librarian
Pawnee City Library Foundation & Friends
The mission of the Foundation and Friends is to support the library by:
Providing direct financial assistance
Encouraging gifts
Providing volunteer services
Advocating for the library to provide increased awareness in the community
The Foundation & Friends meet quarterly in the library meeting room.
Committees will meet periodically to plan for library events.
